2 Months and Other Fun Stuff
Parker turned 2 months on April 15th. We went to the doctor for the mandatory check-up, complete with shots. He has been growing very well! He was 23.5 inches long (75%) and 11 lbs. 7 oz. (45%). He is smiling, cooing, and trying to grab everything. If he has it in his hand, he gets it in his mouth! We have been having a great time as a family.
Nolan really loves his brother
2 months old

Nolan has some great news, too! He is potty trained! Well, mostly. Since Parker has made his grand entrance, Nolan has been having some temper tantrums and power struggles. Most of the time he is accident free, but there are always a few accidents and on purposes. I will say that it is quite nice to be changing less diapers and Nolan is so proud of himself! Although Nolan may be acting up, he has not shown anything but love towards Parker. He takes it all out on Ted and me. Well get through it. :) We love you Nolan!
Other fun stuff in the Jones household includes:
a new double stroller!

Busy
We have been pretty busy in the Jones household. These 2 boys are keeping us on our toes, but we are enjoying every minute of it. Parker has started smiling and cooing all the time, which makes Nolan laugh like crazy. Nolan is forever trying to get Parker to look at him and does so by making funny faces, using silly voices, and just giggling. I can't wait for Parker to really respond to him.
For all of you family far away, I just wanted to get a bunch of Parker pictures so you could get an idea of just how cute he is.

More Pictures
We have been having so much fun with our new little member of the family. Parker is fitting right in and has been such a good baby. Aside from our little ER visit... He had an uncomfortable night of crying and pooping that brought us to the ER to be sure that everything was fine. It was. He is doing great!
My parents have been here since Sunday and are staying for another week! It is wonderful to have Grammy and Papa helping out. Nolan has especially been the beneficiary of all the love and attention they have to give. And I will admit that the extra naps on my part have been very appreciated!

Parker Calhoun Jones
Parker Calhoun Jones joined our family on Monday, February 15, 2010. He weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 22 inches long. After a long 29 hour labor, he was successfully delivered as a VBAC . When he was born, he had a little trouble breathing and needed to spend his first few hours in the NICU, but then was given a clean bill of health and brought to our room. We feel so blessed to have this little guy in our family. Nolan has been the best big brother; singing to him, reading him books, showing him all his toys, and running in the room to see him as soon as he gets up in the morning. Parker seems to be a pretty happy guy, and he is settling in very well. Welcome to our family!

We love you so much baby Parker!
